BUSINESS DEVELOPER PUBLIC SECTOR

 

 

Job description:

You will report to the Sales Manager Corporate about the overall purpose of your mission:

  • You will own and drive the Public Sector business plan by prospecting and selling our complete product portfolio.
  • You will develop the relationship between the company and the entire Public Sector in order to grow business.
  • You will ensure customer satisfaction when dealing with the company.

 Principal job responsibilities:

  • Significantly increase our market share in this segment
  • Liaise with partners for the completion of the carrier’s offers.
  • Coordinate the development of a complete business solution (bid) for the customer (technical solution, financial proposal, service proposal).
  • Provide the company with institutions requirements now and in the future for all current and proposed services. Provide a corporate interface between the company and the institutions at all levels.
  • Provide the company with feedbacks as requested on business won/lost, prospects for future business.
  • Produce market research/intelligence reports for use within the company.
  • Lead and/or support the company initiatives in the entire segment.
  • Coordinate selling activities with colleagues in the US, UK and other country organizations.
  • Selectively involve management (local, European, International, Corporate) in competitive situations and contract negociations. Lead and/or participate in formulation of strategy for development of major business opportunities. 

Profile:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of successful sales experience in IT or Telecom to the Public Sector
  • Clear understanding of specific procedures in the Public Sector
  • Experience in total solution sales
  • Clear experience in prospecting and key account management
  • Understanding of telecommunication principles for both voice and data
  • Preferably university degree
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project)
  • Experience in bid and proposal management
  • Result driven, service oriented and solution minded
  • Time management and priority setting skills
  • Able to deal with complexity
  • Experience in a multinational organization
  • Trinlingual French/Dutch/English
