MARKETING MANAGER - MADRID

 

 

Job description:

Purpose of job:

·         To drive programs to increase our client market profile in Spain

·         To generate qualified sales leads for the Spanish sales team in the enterprise sector

·         Act as local liaison for and lead on public relations activity in Spain

 

Main duties:

  • Write and agree marketing plan for Spain region
  • Advise on budget allocation to deliver annual plan and qualified leads
  • Conduct market and customer segmentation of the Spain Enterprise marketplace
  • Conduct an aggressive campaign of Direct Marketing initiatives in Spain
  • Lead on delivering customer seminars for the region and advise on attendance at industry events
  • Liaise with local Public Relations resource to increase our client’s profile with the press and potential customers
  • Liaise with marketing agency to produce Spanish customer-facing material as necessary

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION :

Qualifications required :

·         Graduate, with additional marketing or business qualification desirable

·         Native Spanish speaker with fluent English skills

 

Skills, knowledge and experience:

·         Previous experience of marketing in the Spanish market is essential

·         Experience of working within a telecommunications environment is essential, including an understanding of the economics and technologies

·         Experience of channel and lead development within the enterprise segment is essential

·         Experience within a Pan-European business environment is desirable

 

Personal characteristics and aptitudes:

·         Self sufficient and self motivated - the individual must be able to drive forward with minimal day-to-day supervision

·         Team player – must understand the bigger picture and perform the role in the context of the department and the company as a whole

·         Leadership – must lead key stakeholders in particular, and the company in general, and win over their hearts and minds to the proposed plans

·         Authority – must be able to command the respect of key stakeholders – country manager, marketing director, VP Sales & Marketing, senior management – to ensure ideas are adopted and plans are agreed.
