SERVICE SPARE SPECIALIST

It provides the fixed network (MGN, DSL, MSAN), the mobile network (GSM, GPRS, UMTS, CDMA), the optical networks, software and intelligent network. Currently this enterprise provides telecom products and solutions for over 270 carriers worldwide and 22 of the world's top 50 telecom carriers are using our customer's products and solutions. There are based in 50 countries.

 

MISSION

You should be responsible for handling international logistics, including timely customs clearance of imported goods, warehouse management and monitoring logistics service providers.Project Profitability

Build country/regional service parts business platform and develop processes & procedures for local service parts operations

  • Deploy Third Party distribution and warehousing services for spare parts
  • Maintain inventory healthy to increase inventory cycle turn and reduced obsolescence
  • Co-ordinate country/region performance matrix teams to reflect issues and develop process improvements within committed timelines for spare parts service

PROFILE

University degree or Higher National Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration or Electrical/Telecommunications. Computer Literacy is a must.

Extensive knowledge of service logistics and after-sales spare parts management

Familiar with Service Logistics management process/procedures: Inventory Management, Service Logistics Delivery Management, International Trade and import/export operations, etc.

Over 3 years of experience in position bearing line management responsibility in the above fields

Must welcome challenges.

Excellent collaboration skills with a wide variety of people (product management, engineering, marketing).

Good oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and fluency in English.

Knowledge and abilities in the following areas would be a bonus

Logistics or Process Certifications (e.g. 6Sigma, CTL, CIPS)

Good written and oral French, Spanish, German or Portuguese

Knowledge and experience in service logistics management in European  Telecommunication Industry
