INTERNATIONAL CORPORATE SALES MANAGER |
Company : Our client is part of the most important hotel groups in Europe. This group offers a wide choice of hotels and restaurants for personal and professional stays in UK, France, Italy, Benelux etc…
Function&Objectives :
§ To capture and develop accommodation and catering sales via companies, training organisations and professional business travel agencies for the sales of the totality of the groups hotels within Europe.
§ To increase the turnover in the UK hotels through corporate business and booking agencies.
Main responsabilities :
§ Develop customer loyalty and expand the client portfolio in their designated region whilst focussing on the objectives defined by the commercial management team.
§ Participate in the planning, creation and evolution of the commercial products and all projects that improve the efficiency of our actions and/or the running of the sales department.
§ Analyse and study the market of the region.
§ To be fully aware of competitor developments, marketing & sales activities in the UK.
§ Propose and put in place a commercial action plan validated by your director having the purpose of ROI (return on investment).
§ Participate and assume the responsibility of being an ambassador at professional corporate exhibitions and workshops defined by the commercial management team.
§ To be responsible to ensure the effective commercial management of customers and hotels.
§ Negotiate, formalise, sign and monitor customer contracts (development of account and customer loyalty).
§ To contribute to the UK sales policy for all hotels of the group.
§ Identify, propose and put in place partnerships in new distribution channels with the aim of reducing distribution costs and increase sales. (e.g. Web partnership)
§ Work in close association with their reservation sales colleagues on their priorities and customers objectives, business plans, etc..
§ Carry out a regular report and continuous communication with their manager and all internal services. (sales admin department, legal department, hotel services, etc.)
§ To develop & maintain professional relationships with hotel managers.
§ To comment to both managers and head office on the quality and product within each hotel.
§ Manage and resolve contentious problems.
§ Assist in the recovery of unpaid customer invoices.
§ To ensure commercial success of new hotel openings.
§ To provide a weekly report to the Sales Director.
§ To identify and develop business in the priority hotels through local and national business contracts
§ To train and manage any additional member of the sales team.
§ Customer visits: minimum 2 days per week.
Profile :
At least 6 years experience in similar position.
Languages :
Fluent in English
Good level in French
