"ORACLE FINANCIALS" FUNCTIONAL ANALYST

COMPANY:

Our client is a major industrial group based in France for more than 20 years which has an international dimension. They are developing their activity all around the world and are looking for a Functional analyst on Oracle Financials to join the European Support team and to be based in Paris.

 

MISSION:

Within a pan-European team, you will have to: 

-          Provide support for users of the European Oracle Financials system

-          Analyze problems reported by Users, propose a solution to those problems and follow to resolution.

-          Support developments to the system and financial processes from a functional point of view in an environment based on Oracle 11i and 11.03 (modules: AR, GL, CE, FA)

-          Be in charge of writing functional specification documents

-          Work in collaboration with the “business” to understand their business requirements in order to support standard functionalities as well as customizations.

-          Implement new functionality available from new releases.

-          Train users in the operation of the system and processes

-          Analyze problems reported by the users in order to propose a solution and follow to resolution

-          Liaise with development group to define the issues resolution.

 

PROFILE:

-          You have an Accounting or a Business School degree with a major in finance / accounting and you have a good knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP, European norms)

-          You have at least 3 years of experience in an accounting position or as a functional consultant on financial information systems (ideally Oracle financials, 11i)

-          You have a European implementation / functional support experience and have developed strong project methodology skills.

-          You are a team player who like to work in an international environment

-          You are also able to work in autonomy and take your own initiatives

-          You speak English fluently

-          A good knowledge of Oracle E-business suite modules and MS/Access is a plus.
